Festive Passion Fruit Surprise

FESTIVE PASSION FRUIT SURPRISE
INGREDIENTS:
5 Passion fruits
4 Cups of warm water
3 Cups watermelon juice (1 ½ lbs.)
2 Lemons or ½ cup of lemon juice
2 Cups of light syrup (2 cups of water and white or granulated sugar)
½ Teaspoon of sea salt
1 Tablespoon honey
2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
Method:
- Combine 2 cups of water and 1 cup of sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Cut passion fruits into halves and remove seeds and pulp from fruits.
- Pour warm water over seeds and pulp. Mix well and allow to cool.
- Strain off liquid to be used and discard the seeds and pulp.
- Peel base and remove seeds from watermelon. Cut into cubes. Using a blender, blend to make juice.
- Cut lemons into halves and remove seeds and juice.
- Combine all ingredients, strain and stir well. Serve chilled or with crushed ice.
Variation: This beverage can be mixed with Vodka for adult consumption.
